Tubes go to washer nozzles. Wire goes to hood light.

 

Ok, washer nozzels end at the washer tank, where does the hood light end? Part numbers for both?

 

I don't have ASA access right now, I'll get it sometime tonight or tomorrow, whenever I have a chance.

 

hood light wires go from the hood light (obviously) under the heat shield, one is a power wire and one is a wire that goes to a switch (the headlight switch) I'm assuming this since it turns on with the park lights. I think the light is grounded through the switch so there should just be two wires from the light. I think the power is red and the switch wire is green with a black stripe. hope that helps a little.

 

Don't even think about messing with those in the cold. I've done it and regretted it. The hoses stiffen up and start fighting back, and I've snapped the plastic clip on the hood trying to put the stubborn hoses back in. It's one of those things that takes 10 minutes on a warm day but leads to misery on a cold one. Just close the hood and fix it in the spring...

 

An easy +2 on that one!

Ok its getting warmer...bringing this back. So my washer fluid hose is fine, but its the hood light wire that has the cracked insualtion as seen in the pic. What do I do about it? Where does it go once it leaves the hood light? Does it connect to the harness somewhere?

 

Honestly just looks like the outer sleeve is cut, not the wires themselves but I really can't tell.

As for where it goes, I've never had a working under - hood light so I couldn't tell ya.

It is just the sleeve, but you cant get another sleeve on there im sure. Id rather buy the whole new wire, but im looking if its connected to the harness...
