Short and to the point. Tranny has metal chunks in it, shop cant come up with anything (they could only fix it if it was a seal or something). Need someone to take it apart, tell me whats wrong, and fix it if possible. Its a 18 spline 91 RT/TT trans. I do engine work but I've never done anything with transmissions and would rather have someone who knows em lend a hand. I'll pay you, of course.

If you're looking for a shop I've had good dealings with TransMedic over in Windham. They seem pretty knowledgeable, they're fair and easy to get along with. I'd lend you a hand but I don't know much about them either

I'm a little surprised, I know the owner doesn't like these cars, he cringes and finds something else to do whenever I've stopped by. His son, I think his name's Kevin, seems willing to work on them though. At least he sealed up my weepy transfer case and knew all about the recall...

My TT? Nothing at the moment...Just getting nervous hearing transmission horror stories.
My '93 on the other hand just failed emissions, I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that yet.. (NoX too high)

Just check your fluid and dont push it all the time and ull be fine?
