Ok I had a lil smoking problem found oil in intercooler lines...so I ordered turbos and rebuil kits for them. Well I took off the rear turbo today and found that the intake side to be clean with a little bit of oil residue. But the exhaust side where it goes to the downpipes was completely white? I've never seen white before? Would that be coolant? I have no idea???

Ya that's exactly what it looks like...looks like my boat plugs when I put a blown strocked 460 in it and had the the fuel pressure regulator almsot closed..lol like a really lean condition! It was only on the down pipe side. And the thing was blowen white smoke like crazy on high rpm decel when the car warmed up. All I have to say is that rear turbo is a real pita...hardest turbo I've changed to date..lol now the front one to go! Hopefully its not as bad as the rear!
