I'm planning on getting some new wheels and tires for my '91 stealth R/T after this winter. I've been looking and i really want to get some 18"x8.5" or 18"x9". I like the look of some of the Konig's, espically the Elan, but all that they seem to offer is 18"x7". Anyway, i was wondering what you all would suggest, and what would look really good aswell as perform good.

Depends on what you are trying to achieve. If you want the best ratio of weight to cost, the Enkei RP01's are the best. At $205 each and 16-18 pounds for 18" wheels, they are a very good deal.

You can see them on my 91TT at

just click on the exterior pictures link (not the old exterior as that shows the original equipment wheels on the car).

I was planning on doing the same thing myself this spring. I have been looking at RacingHeart or Hamann wheels. Check out this web site from DAZZ Motorsports: http://www.racinghart.com/main.htm

I have not called them yet, since I am not ready to buy. If you find out anything interesting then let me know.

I called DISCOUNT WAREHOUSE in california, got thier # from an ad in IMPORT TUNER, to price a set of RACING HART C-2's(18" x 8.5").
They quoted $648.00 each w/o tires!!
Too PRICEY for me.
They do have a package deal for 17" KONIG MONSOON's with tires for $795.00 or $895.00, i'll probably get those unless i can find a better deal.
