I used be a member of a Dodge Neon (snicker away) enthusiast site. They had a VIN decoder that told you a bunch of stuff about the car when you typed in the VIN. What plant is was built at, trim, engine, etc. I was wondering if 3si had something like that. I was looking to decode the VIN number JA3BM54J7PY005543. Its for a car I'm interested in buy. Also if someone could post the carfax report, it'd be greatly appreciated!

Just to round this out, for those of us with Stealths (or could be dealing with conversions),
Digit 2, Make, B = Dodge
Digit 8, Engine, S = SOHC
All the rest seems to be the same.

Remember though that all the information in our manuals is for the US market models.
Japan has their own number system for JDM models.
I did find this site that shows that chassis number as a '92 GTO Twin Turbo.
