I have a 93 sohc stealth, and I have had it to 135, ansd still puching more. like someone already said though.. after like 120, it just completely loses its acceleration. I was doing 135 on I-95 North in philadalphia, and hit 135 before a van moved over in front of me. a$$. I switched lanes and missed his rear bumper by about a foot. lol. Id like to know what the car can max out at anyway. I dont race it or anything like that, but its always good to know.
I also only way 135, so apparently thats adding to my performance lol.

Which also ties us in to my highlight of the "trip meter", located directly below the odometer. Notice is says less than 10 miles. Another impossibility for an NA, even with Nitrous. 0-160 in less than 10 miles is like saying a stock Geo Metro runs 11's. As stated earlier, you'd have to be wide open throttle for at least a half hour to get up to speed. Shit, NA's are 0-60 in like 10 minutes, therefore 0-160 must be like 30-45 minutes. So that is also proved false.

i know you are trying to prove a point that this picture is wrong, but i think you are over exaggerating. Don't be dissing my na over here lol. I do believe it's 0-60 in 8.5 sec. lol

when i first bought my car i maxed out third gear at 120, and dipped into fourth for MAYBE 5 seconds and it kept pulling. 94 DOHC base 3000GT.

sorry i think it was 110 instead of 120, it's been so long since my car's been on the road for an extended period of time i forget :p

BUT... to all you speed freaks out there, that was the ONLY time i ever maxed out third gear or higher. tripple didgets are BAD NEWS.. BAD.

Besides the fact that we all know NA's suck and are slow, I've enlarged & highlighted some key points in that pic that proves it's a fake.

First off, the gas gauge.
Notice it says "full". Well, we all know that since NA's have no power whatsoever, it would take at least 30 miles to get up to speed. And we also know you wont get 30mpg at wide open throttle, not even in a 3 cylinder Geo Metro. Even if you filled the tank immediately prior to the top speed run, by the time you actually got up to 160 mph, you'd be down to 1/4 tank. So much for 160 mph on a full tank.

But the final shred of proof I present is the lack of warning gauges being displayed. At 160mph, any 3000GT/Stealth would at the very least have a Check Engine indicator lit. Likely all warning gauges would be lit, such as low coolant from blowing the headgasket, the SRS warning light (lit on ALL 3000GT/Stealths, even when factory new), and also the brake light would be lit since the car is accelerating so rapidly, all the brake fluid would be getting pushed to one side of the master cylinder due to all the G-Forces and inertia, thus causing the sensor to show a faulty "low" reading".

So I hereby raise the BS flag on the pic.
