This is setting up to be another banner day for Daytona.
First things first - A couple of laps around the track - OF COURSE!
the road track: Tri-Oval start/finish line truning after pits into the infield sports car course and exiting back onto the oval turn 1 and 2 then down the backstretch and in and out of the bus stop back on to 3 and 4 and the tri-oval start finish line
Next - Inaugural Sport Compact Expo - Car judging by the Grand Am Drivers with trophy presentations in Victory Lane (wouldn't that be a nice shot)
Next - Winston Cup Practice
Next - Busch Series Practice
Next - Winston Cup Qualifying
And the finale at around 10:30pm - The Paul Revere 250 for the Grand American Rolex Series featuring the new Daytona Prototypes
All from the Paddock Suites just above Pit Road, Pit Out and the entry to Turn 1 on the infield road course.
Gonna rest Friday and then back to the track - courtesy of barf - for the Pepsi 400 on Saturday night.
