Is there a trick that I'm not following here? I buy the pump, follow all the instructions (limited, yeah) and the stupid hose isn't even getting down to the gas!!! WTF? I had over 3/4 of a tank in the car and still nothing. I even jacked the car up on the opposite side and the hose would still not reach the damn gas. The hose felt like it would hit something and stop. What could it be? There's no mechanism that keeps people from siphoning gas from your car is there??

Take the fuel return line off the FPR and put another hose in its place. Turn on the car and the gas should flow out.

Get a hose, put it down in there, and start sucking (you know you want to
