car is getting gas but no spark - what should i check for and what needs to be fixed - all possibilities welcome

ummm get the service CD it will help a lot... but don't start with coil packs....
First check the spark plugs in the front back to see if you are getting any spark then work your way back to the coil packs.
CHeck to see if you get around the same resistance with them on a voltmeter. i can get you the resistances tommorow.
Then check the adaptor going into the coil pack... put the ground in the number three hole if the clip is up on it it should be on the bottom left then check to see what numbers you get by putting the power in each one of the other three holes.
then from there check the power transistor you have to check all three with a volt meter and battery i can get you better instructions tommorow on that too. after that if everything still looks

also, what exactily is going on. does it sound like the starter? do you get just a click when you turn the key? if so it could be your turbo timer. disconnect the harness and hook up the stock harness. then try it again.
I just ordered the Xsister from Mitsu, the guy there let me swap and if it is not it then I can return it, kinda cool, and I think it might be that since none of the cylinders are firing, is my thinking correct here
just checked the TP and CP sensors - they are fine...only other thing is ECU, ut I'll do the Xsistor swap first...any thouhgts??
