What exactly is a glasspack. I kno it's like a muffler but what is special about it?

 

i have a glasspack muffler on my car too, and like you i love the sound, IMO sounds much better than stock.

a glass pack is a muffler that absorbs the sound through fiberglass. it doesn't make it real quiet like some mufflers, it makes it have a deeper, more powerful sound.

 

Do a search, we just discussed this last week. I think the subject was "cherry bomb = race mufferler?" or something like that. Bottom line is that glass packs are just straight through design mufflers, just like the chrome fart cannons, but without the chrome or the obnoxious tips.

 

if your going to get a glass pack you might as well just save yourself the money and just get a pipe that goes straight out to some tips.

A little pricey at $90 but they look beautiful.
