the 8mm bolts are 15 foot pounds, 6mm bolts 97 inch pounds.

15 and 12 ft/lbs i did it today. thats wat ii found online anway

 

small ones are 8ft lbs
large ones are 15ft lbs

Use the 4 large ones to get the cam seated then torque from the inside out

 

Im happy to say that after all my car has been through and all the mods, it has zero aftermarket bolts.

Never had any 'extra' parts, and never ran out of parts

 

ACE Hardware sells the "smaller JIS head" bolts when you look for them you find them by the "shaft" size lol.

 

just pulled the bible and your all wrong. the inner 3(10mm) are 8lbs yes but the outer 2(12mm) are 14lbs not 15lbs(page 11b-19 in service manua)l. they need done in stages, i do the outers at 5lbs then the inner 3. then go to 8lbs starting with outers, then take the outer 2 to 12lbs, then 14lbs. thats how i do mine and have had my cams in and out 4 times in last year.
