Trying to see if there is any interest in an active aero sim from 3sx. I need one, but find it hard for me to pull the $70+shipping out to buy one. So if there is a high enough interest in one maybe I can get one together.
hmmm, that is nice to know. I've been told a few times that doesn't work.AudibleSilence said:You do know that you can just use a stock active aero motor and leave it in place without the air dam....right? They go for cheap (20 bux max from what I've seen) and they are everywhere. Don't fall for gimmicks. Oh yea you don't need that Pop-up Headlight Variable Controller either. There are two little knobs next to each headlight (probably under a rubber guard). You can adjust them there.![]()
News flash...it's going to still work after what? 2 years maximum? It's a new part. The stock AA motors are old, and contrary to popular belief not all are broken. Rust does come off you knowpkchino said:The problem with the stock AA motor is that most of them are rusted, beat up and does not work properly, even without the front air dam many of them just simply stuck dead, which sending the error signal that disable the AA = no rear wing motion.
The simulator "cheats" the computer and makes it believe that the front AA is still working thus allowing you to still use the rear wing even the front one is busted.
I bought mine on the very first GB and til this day it still works
Just my .02

Like he said. Plus the AA motor weights a ton and it's a bitch to mount somewhere if you have a '99 front end.mikes2nd said:yeah i have one of the original simulators. I think i paid 35$. Check out the thread. They basically designed it in the thread. You could make one if your handy with electronics. They are nice.
