i never had one on my vr-4... it will prob cause a leak, but i doubt it would cause a huge one...

 

Possibly if the gasket didn't seal correctly. It doesn't look like it's 100% through, so it could have theoretically sealed jsut fine.

I have a feeeling it might have been leaking a bit, for it to get torn that way it would have to be pretty messed up when you put it on.

 

i just ordered a new y-pipe so i will find out soon. My car is healthy as hell and i can only get like .7 bars of boost so if that is not it i do not no where to look next. Today i installed my greddy type-s i was hoping that was it but not the case but i help me find the y-pipe gasket was bad though.
