Yeah I am sure everyone has seen this video.

YouTube - Dodge Stealth ES with Active Aero from a 3000GT VR4

I am trying to do the same thing but without changing my trunk.
Wing is easy to get+Switches.
I am good with installing things/rebuilding/paint. but dumb as a brick with electronics.

But I don't want to use a computer or whatever is the normal way.

I am looking for people who are good with electronics to give me some advice. Or have done this before!

I just want to be able to control my wing to go up and down.
Here are two of my options.

1. a wireless switch, like used in keyless entry.
2.The standard, run a long ass wire and i am still not even sure how to wire it.

I see 3sx has some device but its only for front AA

Thanks

ah I see, thanks Dave. I see your Stealth TT, Very Nice work.

So did you change your trunk? and you just hooked up one long wire?
Every try wireless setups?
I am dumb and scared to mess with my carpet.
I only tear up my gf's carpet :p

I cant find that switch anywhere, how do you get your hands on one?

I initially ran a complete harness in the stock stealth hatch that I had already added the active aero spoiler too. The harness was run under the rug inside tubing protecting any potential wear issues. The harness enters the hatch up top near the hinges. There was plenty of room in the existing spoiler wiring sleeve to run the additional wires. But the spoiler had limit switch issues. Meaning the switches that sensed if the spoiler was fully up or down were not working correctly. So I bailed on making it work correctly and just got the spider switch. Back in 05 I was actively making Digital climate control kits. Even had a group buy for them on 3si and sold many more of them on ebay. I believe I stopped at #26. One of the parts cars was a spider. So that’s where the switch came from.

Wow so you can just snake a wire through? ah well I am going to try to find that switch. I know you can use custom switches but it would look nice.

Thanks again
