Has anyone ever put white or near white leather into their car? I am thinking about going with some white carpet and seats from leatherseats.com. I just can't seem to find anyone that has ever done it. I think it'd go well with a blue exterior.

Any/All Thoughts/Suggestions Appreciated,

Blake

Ok, thanks. I saw the one that was rebuilt from the ground up, but I don't want to make all my dash and that stuff white. I like the stock dash, I just guess I'd like to figure out what it'll look like with the white against charcoal. Ok, I may just have to photochop it and see what that looks like.

Grant (IceEagle2102), had his Cr-1s and his dash recovered in white leather. It looks really nice, but I think hes crazy there is no way to keep that clean.

Damn our interiors are going to look so freaking similar! I just ordered new charcoal carpet and I placed a huge order that will hopefully be filled sometime in the near future by smokinvr-4 for pretty much his complete line of interior brushed ss parts. I'm ordering my leather this week the only think I can't decide on is if I want to go with embroidery on the seats or not? I was thinking about going with Twin Turbo on them in charcoal to just add a little additional subtle custom touch to the seats.

wow that looks absolutely amazing. Gives a nice clean and sporty look. I don't remember where i saw it but i remember reading a post from someone that didnt get the embroidery and they regretted it. so i say most definitely get the custom embroidery. Besides it kind of gives it a personal touch. And you know it will look good. Post pics when its all said an done!

good luck getting your stuff, At least i hope you get your money back.

waffleguy, white looks really sweet, but you have to be careful about the carpet. look into getting some of those rubber floor buckets, i have seen them in many suvs and whatnot, they hold the dirt off alot better than floor mats and they will keep your carpet fresh. otherwise you are just going to be tracking in dirt whenever you step into the car. just my 2c

Just like mine, but I have R/T embroidered in the headrests. It was charcoal and dove gray if I recall correctly. I did look at doing them in bone, which is an off white as pictured above, but it too would be difficult to keep looking clean. And white carpet is just nuts, in a car.

I had my factory beige/light tan carpet replaced with a silvery gray instead. Much better, and easier to keep clean that the "dark off white" of the factory carpet.

I did a custom white interior in my Mustang. It does look hot when it is fresh and clean, as the pics above show, but for a daily driver it is a challenge. Once it gets dirty, it will look like hell and its super hard to get totally clean again. I intended to go with a white carpet but at the last minute changed my mind and got black. I am glad I did because white carpet, IMO is completely impractical for a street car. If you smoke in your car, definitely don't do it. I never even eat fast food in my cars, but things like that can make a white interior look dingy (sp). I certainly don't discourage you from doing it, if you take good care of your car it will be great!
