The general concept goes as such: Design something that looks like it does something, then make ridiculous claims on eBay (spins up to 65,000RPM?) so people want it. They buy it, you make money.

That thing won't do anything besides cause a nice restriction of air flow.

 

 

Yeah that's what I was thinking when I actually saw it. Its going to take force to make that "turbine" spin which is just going to get in the way.

 

I doesn't look like it would do anything which enforced what I told him, but I was still interested in how would this concept even work?

He means via the self powered turbine aka windmill...

If anything I could see a performance decrease due to the extra drag on the intake system.

 

I give that thing about three months before part of it breaks off and flies through your intake.

i have 10 of those and make 4 bajillion horsepower.

 

I filled my intiake tube with those, put one in my throttle body, made a SQUARE one for my intake, and replaced my MAF with a small one. 7 sec 1/4 mile stock internals.

 

Yeah I was just wondering in what world would it work, I think the kid from work had already bought it before he ask me lol.

 

It does actually work.
