Part 11?? Is this spring the part I need to replace!!! Well,my problem is.... I dont have first or segond gears!! I Have third,4th,5th,6th and reverse, but if you try to go in first or second, you go to third or fourth!!!! My mechanic says this spring is the problem.

What do you think about?

You will probably lose the spring. If you have a magnet, like this:

You may be able to pull the spring back out.

I do not believe this spring is your problem. The spring helps the shifter return to the center position...between all gears. If the spring is broken or missing, the shifter will not center, but should still go into all the gears.

I believe your problem is somewhere else.

BTW, your english is very good :)

Im not sure if it is needed to be removed when removing or reinstalling the shift shaft (maybe both?), but I believe there is a small bolt on the tranny case, near the reverse switch, that must be removed before you are able to remove/reinstall the shift shaft.

It's been a while since I pulled mine, but I seem to remember there being 1 side bolt that must be removed for the assembly to be pulled out.

And I lost my spring a longggggggggggg time ago...
