Removing Inner Tie Rod. Need Hel

Hey I need any help I can get here. I'm trying to remove my inner tie rod off of my 93 3000gt. I have went and got two tools that will not fit over the inner tie rod. I have used a pickel fort kit and a 2 in 1 inner tie rod tool. None of them will fit over the inner tie rod. I have tried using a big pair of pliers but there on there good. Hopefully someone has some advice.

I forgot the exact size of the socket I used, but it was just that. Find the right fitting socket, then pick up a "crow's foot" for that size from your closest Snap On, Napa, etc. I had a rough time getting mine off, but once we finally got these tools they came off easy!
