I've removed the wiper arm and now I want to get rid of the motor. I was on Norco's website looking for parts and I came across this:

Now, number eight is a plug and I'm assuming it plugs that hole on cars that didn't have rear wipers? If so I'd love to use this as a temporary solution until I can pull the panel and weld it in.

Anyone know if that's what that's for?

Its not to plug the hole as far as I know.
Look under your spare tire. There are two holes that have plugs in em already. One of those fits. All you have to do is seal up the two small holes that are in it (I used black silicone sealant). You can use that temporarily. I left mine in there because you can't really see it under the banana anyways.

Yeah, but I can see the post in my rearview and it reminds me that I'm slightly OCD and a weight Nazi. :D

I need to fix a bolt in the wing this weekend and I was just going to remove it. I guess I'll just wait to paint the panel and weld it shut.

Thanks.
