Is there a difference between Pearl White and Glacier White.. What years and trims are Pearl White and Glacier White?

I believe the pearl has more of a gray tone to it when its darker out and the glacier is more of a pure white. My Pearl white is more of a silvery gray at night and under good sunlight a nice white.

well on my car information from the dealer its refered to "Glaciar Ice Pearl" and it has the silverish tone too it sometimes. I actually had someone try to tell me my car was silver.

AFAIK, the Pearl White cars have more of a luster to them, and they tend to mimic the light around them. Mine will be brilliant white in direct sunlight, silver in moonlight, and almost bronze under an amber streetlight. Don't know about 3k's, but on the Stealth, this color was only availible on R/T's.

Glacier white is the straight white that was used on base models and ES's. It lacks the pearlescance of the other cars.

AS,
What is your color code? It should say it on the badge by the brake booster under the hood. I am thinking your car doesnt look like Glacier Pearl White to me......

In direct sunlight it is the purest white it can be.. at dawn/dusk and at an angle the blue/purple hue comes out.

It's not stock Rob :) It is GPW painted over stock 93VR4 Pearl White (which ever code it is).

So I have a '92 White Vr4... It's Pearl White right? From the first generations is there any other whites than Pearl whites?

I'm asking these ever so noob annoyign questions because i'm having a hell of a time finding a replacement driver side door.

afaik, the brochure of the 2nd gen up says Glacier White Pearl.

its a brilliant, crisp, shiny white under near-flourescent and sunlight (noon), and has a distinct change in tone/color as light angles change.

below are my fave pics of my old car depicting the classic Glacier White Pearl color:

shadows are a bluish white from one angle:

a multi-transition from milky white to crisp bluish white:

This feature alone makes me sport that corny smile everytime I see my car. :) Its always amazing to see how the pearl looks against brilliant orange sunsets, etc.

Here's a photo from under a streetlight that I took awhile back. This is the RT's Pearl White (first gen):
