OK here goes.

Standing in front of your car, look at the valve cover. One the left side of the valve cover is your oil filler cap. On the right side is a vacuum hose, about 6 or 8 inches long, going directly back toward the firewall and down into the intake manifold. That hose connects to the pcv valve. Remove the hose, unscrew old pcv valve, thread new pcv valve, and replace hose. If your car is like mine was, the hose was a bitch to remove so I cut it off and replaced w/ a new one (good excuse to buy some red silicone vacuum hoses).

To get the hose off of the pcv valve end, take a shop cloth and wrap the teeth of a pair of channel locks. Twist hose back and forth to break it loose, pull off hose. Don't get a cheap FRAM PCV valve. They are plastic, stay with the metal kind. Also don't over tighten the valve putting on the new one.
