Space Coyote, you poking fun at the *muffler* size?? hehe.. they actual damp the exhaust noise pretty good! I'm sure the dual 3in piping and dual N1's helped alot on the sound damping.. should be pretty loud if I went single hyper style~ :D

Rich, I went with 3in piping with mandrel bent 90 degrees pipes.. they sure cost a lot!! The muffler shop tried to convince me to just go dual 2 1/2, but I wouldnt have any of that!! hehe..

Matt, I just got this today!! :D Friday nite you heard was my TSUDO DTM dual canon muffler.. that thing is loud!! No, I didn't like Brian's short and stubby XTEC's.. these are about the same roundness.. but longer..

RedSL, Yes, they are universals.. fitment on the passenger side was kinda tight tho..

AWDPower, I got these at a local speedshop.. was there just checking things out.. wasn't planning to buy anything.. then they brought out this thing for some Honda customer.. damn, love at 1st sight!! :D Never did like the N1's.. seen them before.. they were kinda skinny.. but these are different type of N1's.. I think newer from Apexi.. twice as big as the old ones..

Drturbo, Thanx! I think I met your dad before.. red VR4 rite?? :D

Acc-Risk, Nah.. the neighbors are used to it.. been living in the same house for over 10yrs.. they probably don't like me much..

Heh Looks Good brother,

Just wait -- I'm on a mission to beat ya ;-) .. Ooo nevermind I found a nice lambo on ebay.

Speaking of Lambos, I had a dream that this dealership in Newport let me trade my Vr4 for a new Diablo -- even trade. Man. I only wish :-D

Nice look but very close to a rice-racer :( Just somewhat too big for my opinion ... like on the Civics. Your setup doesn't need such big ones so you've chossen them just for look, right ?

#14 ·
how did you run the piping around the gas hose on the passenger side?

Yo Roger,

Rice?? Too big?? dang.. harsh.. but everyone is entitled to his/her own opinon~ I was kinda thinking they weren't big enough!! :D Our cars ARE kinda FAT and FLAT.. please don't compare it to a Honda.. what looks OK and ordinary on a Honda (because you see it too much!), maybe look good and awesome on our cars (because you don't see it that much!)

Keep in mind the tips are only about 3.5-4in.. it might look big cuz of the muffler/canister.. the factory dual tips covers more of the rear bumper exh opening than these!

And if you wana discuss looks vs. function.. isn't the dual exhaust for our car RICE!?!? Unless you have a separate exhaust pipe from each turbo to each rear exhausts/mufflers, we basically only need 1 muffler for the best exhaust flow. And does my setup need 2 of these 2 big ones?? --> NO.. 1 hyper style is probably sufficient.. <-- probably sufficient for every highly/wildly mod 3S!

And isn't going to bigger rims kinda RICE too? It really does nothing for performance.. in reality, it probably slow acceleration..

I think the term *RICE* is totally over-used. Anyone who has stickers is rice?? Anyone who has a spoiler is rice? Anyone who tries to make their car different, look fast, etc. is rice?? Then does the dual race stripes fall in the category of 'rice'?? The factory hoop wing, 99 combat wing --> RICE!!?? I can go on and on... so come on.. cut the enthuiasts some slack.. not everyone like the sleeper look~

Hey George, I really miss a huge wing on the car, hehe. I used the term "rice" because I saw that kind of exhausts onyl on "rice" cars for now :) Regarding the sleeper look, you removed any spoiler and badges so it's sleeper, isn't it (of course not the plate...but U need really bigger turbos to accomodate the plate!)? Yeah, you're right, your Stealth is low and fat and the black color even improves this, cool, I really like it (especially from the front) if it is dark... only the two bright spots under cars are a little irritating, LOL. How many miles had you on the car with this exhaust when you took the pics ? I guess that they will become dark soon.

Roger, do you guys have ricers in Switzerland? Or do you have to get by with reading about ours at riceboypage.com? :D<table border="0" width="100%">

Haha! George has a fat ass :D

Don't worry G, you can hurt me later :)

Hey Roger,

I really miss my BIG wing too!! hehe.. some dude from N. CA with a NA 3000 bought it.. it found a new home~ :)
So you would consider my car a sleeper??!! I don't think so! A sleeper suppose to *look* stock and *look* slow.. mine car probably looks faster than it really is~ :D so.. hmm.. isn't that the definition of RICE??

Gatecrasher,

I'm sure there are EURO RICE where Roger is from! :D hehhehee.. RICE is international.. they're everywhere..

Rob,

Nah.. i wouldn't kick your ass.. im too nice of a guy to do that.. the only guy that seems to like kick other ppl butt is FASTBOY~ oh yea.. im still waiting for your "friends&family" discount IPO prices! :D

George:

I'm curious, what kind of gas mileage do you get with your current set-up? Cty/hwy if you drive it "nicely" that is. I got up to 24.5mpg when I went on my road trip up to Idaho. That was cruising in 6th at about 80mph. When I drove at 100+ in 6th it wen down to 20 or so. I guess that extra 20mph really does kill fuel efficiency. Later!

Matt

PS You've got the 368's with 720's and an ARC right?

The clearance is fine.. the height is about a regular muffler~ no bump is that high.. i hope! :D

Tim,

Thanks!

Matt,

DUDE!!! Stop confusing me with Jose! :D First you call me Jose.. now you think I have his setup!! I only have the tiny 13G's and tiny 550's and a tiny HKS pump... my gas milege is the same as stock tho :) about 20-24mpg.. depending on how I drive..

nice....

Your car looks a lot like mine except mine are 4.5" made by tanabe (which I just found out today). I love that look though. It's funny to watch people sometimes in there cars pointing at them as you pass them. :)
