Lifter Replacement Instructions

We are thinking about replacing the lifters in our 94SL. Anybody have some basic instructions? We are pretty good with the wrench, so I'm sure we can handle it. However, we are only doing it to quiet the engine a little so if it is a three day job, we will probably skip it.

Yeah! I'm sure it's MUCH easier to pull the entire engine out of the car to do it.

I have seen that video before. Someone PM'd me when I was talking about changing my lifters and offered to send me a similar tool to borrow, but I can't remember who it was.

No!!!!!!

It's a demo! But you can easly change your lifter with this tool with your engine in your car!

Yeah, I know, I was joking.

I'm not sure if the original poster is busy, I would guess with the holidays maybe, but if he gets back, maybe he'll be interested in that tool.
