Hi, well.. I decided to take a look on my plugs because I just got my datalogger cable (94 hybrid) and Evoscan showed high knock counts, even knock on idle, so I inspected the plugs, NGK V-Power, correctly gapped, new cables, after about.. 400miles 2 plugs were bad, oil/black gunk..
Cylinder #5

That was the worst one,
Cylinder #2 one was kinda bad

I have the 6 plugs with the cylinder number below:

What you think, I also noticed that the intake plenum was totally black in the inside, a lots of oil, throttle body side was ok.
I checked the compression and got pretty high numbers:
First test (cranking until the gauge showed the max value)
#1- 190, #2- 220, #3- 180, #4-200, #5-200, #6-220
So I got pretty high numbers, I made another test, about 5 compression strokes..
#1- 200, #2- 220, #3-180, #4-200, #5-210, #6-210
Ok, now dipping some oil (wet)
#1-200, #2 - 220, #3 - 185, #4-210, #5-210, #5-210
I got higher reading on #3 and #4 (wet test), but the plugs there were ok. I have the highest reading on the #2, the plug wasnt that bad, the #5 was the bad one but the compression isnt that low... :bump:
I dont have the equipment for a leakdown test, but what can I try now, bad VSS shouldnt get that much oil on the plug, isnt?
I recorded my exhaust after idling and some acceleration, it doesnt smoke that bad (blue), but the file is big I upload it tomorrow lol..
WEll any input is appreciated!
