I am looking to upgrade turbos and want to know the best deal going or if anyone is planning on starting a good deal. Is anyone running a special on anything larger than 13g turbos. Also, how much difference do dr500s and 15gs have?

Best deal is to wait till "shadowfax" finshes his TD05 adaptor plates and buy two used 14B TD05 turbos off ebay or the dsm trader...

$600 for adaptor plates, motor mount mod, oil/water line adaptors, new exhaust dumps, and piping.
Then $300? for turbos off ebay or DSM trader.. $900 and go 15G kill'n..

Interested ? http://www.3si.org/portal/forums/showthread.php?threadid=117226&goto=newpost

20Gs will be able to bolt up, but if you go with 20Gs, I hope you only paln on using the car as a drag strip car b/c turbo LAG will be CRAZY !!! people are already guessing that a 16G will be too much for a street driven 3S... But hey, a 75 shot, 750cc injectors, duel fuel pumps, and drag radials = 10's !!!!! But not cheap or streetable..

B/c the stock manifolds are kinda small, they don't promote very good flow, hense the lag is going to be the problem... But who knows, its untested and maybe fine for use with 20Gs, but I doubt it..

14Bs are larger than 99% of everyone on this board will be able to make use of anyways. 16Gs are ridiculous. Larger? If you've got money coming out of your ears to support them, maybe.

hey, we had a thing going on the 20Gs about a month ago or so...didn't we decided it's been done 2 or 3 times? AAM made it into 10's with them...like a 10.7 or something. any way, there are ways around lag.

How do 14b's compare to regular 15g and 13g turbos?
