Well, I posted this in the general section and got only one answer which didn't tell me much. This relates to the audio system, so I guess this is as good a place for this post as any.
I just bought a '95 VR4, and have a seemingly expanding list of issues that aren't actually that big an issue... till you roll them all into one.
Anyways, my question in this topic is about the Active Aero. It works... kinda. The front portion does not work... probably due to some damaging done by the previous owner. If I put the key in and go to the ACC position, it allows me to manually flip the wing up until my speakers turn on. The wing will flip up and down while the HU is on and not actually playing music, but the moment the speakers start to play, the wing goes completely inactive. I am thinking the battery might be the problem. I have also learned through dealing with the powered seat, that the previous owner can't do wiring to save their life. So it could be a wire issue, but as it works before the speakers turn on, I assumed it was something to do with not enough power getting to everything.
Any ideas? Has anyone else had a similar problem?
