why overkill it. use 4 gauge for main power and ground and smaller for everything else. most of the wires in the harness will be 12, 14, 18 gauge. for running to the trunk you should have no issues. A good wire will not degrade signal or voltage in less than 20 feet.

Well I was going to use 0 gauge because I was going to use CCA and not OFC. I still want to overbuild the wire because I'm tired of dimming or other silly things that the car experiences because of some voltage drop. I have a bunch of 16 gauge, but it's too small. I think 12 gauge may be the way to go lol. Plus with the battery relocation I wanted some larger wire for the longer run (even though it is slightly uneccessary)

just get the biggest wire and run that for everything. Never hurts to run bigger wire. So looks like #12 everything. Solder it in big deal done. Dont waste your time matching it wont make a difference.

Thanks bud, #12 was the number I was looking for. I'm not gonna solder it though I have been removing all the individual wire from the clips. So I will jus reuse the clips so it plugs in just like factory
