Vibrating steering wheel on highway

Just curious... Every four seconds my steering wheel will start to vibrate on the highway.. it's about four seconds on and off. Any ideas?

Oh also, apparently the wheels on my this TT are meant to fit an NA and they have spacers. If that could be it.

you sure its not at certain speed ranges? unbalanced tires are the usual cause for vibrating.

could be your tires are out of round..or not balance the correct way...could be the Carrier Bearings on your drive shaft. have you checked your transfer case fluid?

Balance. Alignment. Tie rods. Wheel bearings. Could be a number of things.

Check the tires for any flat spots caused from a wheel lockup, if you haven't had the car for all that long. And of course, balancing.
