Ok I went to alteredatmosphere to find out how much it will cost to install
the supercharger. They will give me a price by the end of the day. So far
everyone whom I talked to said that there will need to be modifactions
to the kit ~The kit isn't a complete kit~I will
try to keep you posted as much as I can.I will post if a hood scoop is needed.

More to come~TKT Supercharger~

Can you do me a favor? Take a picture of where the air gets discharged from? I've never seen one in person, and I'm trying to get an idea of what kind of system I want to do... Thanks in advance...

O.K. Today I just got back my 97 Honda Civic Now Turboed So This means
ILL be able to put the 3000GT In the shop. Thanks MotorHead Performances
College Park Maryland (301)441-9797
.Right Now Iam unable to
give you a picture of where the air discharger from because my superchager
is at AAM. The superchager has a side where the throttle body hooks
up to I don't Know if you can see it in the pictures Look at Manifold P
Picture to the left side of the manifold the Stock throttle hooks up to the
system.

Further modifications, as in injectors and fuel pump? Piping? Other than that, what kind of modifications?

As it stands right now I have VR-4 Injectors,VR-4 Fuel Pump .Everyone
I take the kit to says it's going to required some mods. I will be able to tell
you when they tell me I don't want to put out bad info.

might hook you up with a test drive but sure I will let you know how it feels.
Then I Will be able to tell the diff between Turbo Vs Superchager  since both of my cars will be force Injected you know .

Just warning you, most people here will laugh if you try to compare a turbo Civic to a twin turbo 3/S. :p

Maybe we could get you in a VR-4 or FWD-TT so you report back the differences between a s/c'ed 3/S and a TT 3/S. That would probably be more informative.

Sorry I should of explain a little more I have a 973000GT SL Not a VR-4
I put a VR-4 on my chrismas wish list I got 20 bucks and a picture of a VR-4
maybe santa got jacked at the north pole. What I was trying to say is the
pro and cons of Turbo/Supercharger.Your right I need to get into a
Turbo 3000GT and then report back.

Sorry I 'll try to stay on topic. Heres where we stand with the supercharger.
I went back up to Alteredatmosphere and asked 4 my kit back because
they are too far 4 me 1Hr to 1Hr 30Mins. I would have to figure out how 2 drop the car off when I work 8am-5pm M-F. I am going to get the shop that put my turbo kit on my civic to do the supercharger which is 30 Mins away. I told them I will drop the kit off tommorrow before 6:00pm.So please hold on a
little longer.

Saw this on mideast3s.com

To pass emissions in the state of maryland you do the ultimate mod to any car.

LOWER IT. (Like Adjustable springs/coil overs low, and de-flate the tires, low)

Then it won't fit on the rollers and you get a waiver. :)

BTW: This works everytime.
