For a while i've been carrying around the guilt of a long list of imperfections with the exterior. And in one day, it's all perfect! I was talking with my neighbor, who used to own a body shop, and I showed him my horrible spoiler. My poor red car had basically a white spoiler because it was so faded from the sun. All it took was a compound and about 1400rpm from a buffer wheel and the red miraculously came back out of nowhere!

I basically had my neighbor and his body shop buddy work over the entire body with wet sandpaper, compound, polish, hand glaze, and touch-up paint. And it looks amazing!!

I was seriously considering getting a $2000 paint job for all the scratches, flaking paint, faded paint, etc, but these guys really knew what the hell they were doing and made my car look 1000x better.

Anyway, these guys (my neighbor and his buddy) are definitely vouched by me and I can certainly prove it at the next meet we have. So i told them i'd throw their name out to anyone in the 3s community who might want to get rid of a laundry list of imperfections and end up with a show quality finish without the expense/hassle of painting.

Let me know if you would like this guy's cell phone #

looking forward to the next meet!

That makes TWO freshly detailed red 3S' in the Mid-Cities area! Don't you love the stock red on these cars? I've been getting a TON of attention lately in mine, its absurd. Apparently its "a ferrari or lamborghini or some shit," according to a non-car friend the other night.

Just remember it works on the Red Single stage paint cars because you can actually remove the faded paint and reveal the color. If you have 2 stage pearl or metalic paint with clear coat, color sanding can defintely makes some improvements but it won't help that pealing clear coat problem.

No on a single stage paint a good color sanding and buffing gets you back to healthy paint. Just take good care of it and it will last. Obviously there is a limit to how many times you can color sand before you run out of paint.
