This is the belt by the power steering cap. It is about an inch thick the pic isnt that good but its kinda shredded. Which belt is this? Estimate on costs?

You have two serpentine belts on tha run the A/C and the alternator and the other runs just the power steering. That one is the power steering belt.

Drove my car for a few months with a busted PS belt - bitch to parallel park these cars without PS. On the positive side, I liked how the steering wheel felt on the HW - better feel of the road without power steering.

(Discussion a while back about trying to come up with a way to reduce the amount of power assist to provide better road feel.)

When you replace the PS belt, make sure you replace all of them. I waited a couple of months until I did my second 60K service and replaced all of the belts.
