From my understanding it will physically fit just fine. You'll need the passenger airbag too. The only problem is the two main bolts that secure the airbag to the dash beam won't have anything to bolt into. The dash beam on a 94-99 shell has 2 little tabs welded to it for the passenger airbag bolt. The 1g doesn't. You could make your own maybe, or find someone parting a car out to cut the section of dash beam out so you can drill the few spot welds, pull them off and tack them onto your beam. I've sold a few beam cutouts in the past but don't have any now.

Thanks so easier to use earlier year 93 down. Makes it a little harder to do. I found a true black but its latter model

true black is 97-99. If you put that in it woudn't match your door panels or center console or rest of interior. Finding the matching components is difficult and would be expensive. I'd try to find a 91-93 dash in good shape that way you don't have an airbag just for show.
