Hey fellas, i just got my intrax spring for my tt
and I was reading the installation note and it
says I have to cut bump stop about 0.75 inch or something.....
Can anybody tell me what's the bump stop and
where is it????

It's the yellowish looking rubber like bumper thing that is inside the plastic boot that goes around the strut.

Thats the best way I know to describe it. :D

nope, i didn't cut mine and when i asked the guys from altered who had just installed a set of intrax on the black spyder, they said it wasn't necessary. no problems with mine at all and they've been on for almost a year now.

Cutting of bump stops

When installed mine, I did. What I understood was that if you don't,t there is a change that your car won't sit right. Also the shocks/shocks won't have enough distance to completely release the pressure. In other word, your ride will suffer.

That's how I remember it.
