I have RPS III......

My 1st RPS was holding up good until i hit the NOS earlier this year.It wasn't slipping at the time, but when we took it out i doesn't look like it had that much more life spand to it.My 2nd RPS III is in the car right now.So far i haven't run my NOS again......i will update how it goes when i do :D;)
RPS Stage III

My RPS III holds my power good & is verry streetable, but i havn't drove any VR-4'S/ TT's with other clutches so i can't compair.
RPS stage III is, well great.
even with a screwed up tranny i drove mine for 5000 and when they replaced the tranny the dealership noticed my clutch still looking almost brand new, plus the look on peoples faces when you chirp your tires from you new holding power is great

You blew it up, finally? Damn. I might have to swing by Friday if I get the chance... I'll let you know.
The RPS II in my car has given me a lot of grief. I'm about to take it out and toss it.
The Spyder has a RPS stage III and its holding like a champ.

Oh, it was good for a single pull at the strip and then it slipped like mad on subsequent pulls. Its gotten to where it won't disengage and I can't shift gears, and this is not a problem with the clutch hydrauling system because I have inspected and replaced everything except the clutch assembly itself.
Not good. RPS says the Stage 1 should be good for cars up to 125 hp over stock, then 125+ is Stage II and III territory. Not sure what to make of this....
act extreme race clutch, unsprung.

engages like a freight train hit me. no sign of slip even after multiple high-rpm drops. not very streetable, very on/off. not recommended for drive-thrus or much anything else requiring "inching" your car.
I keep blowing up Mueller twin discs. I'm supposed to be getting one of the first RPS carbon/carbons soon from Matt at Dynamic Racing. I'll let you guys know how it is as soon as I get it.

this is what my car was doing, seems that i pretty much destroyed my synchros (at the DSM shoot out actually) and as i continued driving with them bad, i eventually destroyed my gears... warranty covered it though, but maybe your tranny problem isn't your clutch but your tranny
rps II suck. I blew mine up racing Jack with only 8000 miles on it hehehe. I installed my rps III last night but and hopefully installing my tranny tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully that will hold. My wife told me no more clutch dumps until we payoff the credit cards :( :( :(
How streetable is the Stage III?
