I just replaced plugs about 7K miles ago due to misfiring or sputtering under hard acceleration, but now 7K later its coming back(the same sputtering)especially off the line, I have an auto. what could this be, should I just put cheaper plugs in and change them every 10K or what? any info is appreciated.

First things that came to mind:
How did the old plugs look? Were they clean or were any covered
in oil? Were they all burning clean, looked white or was there any
traces of black burnt oil. Removed/inspect the new plugs.
How many miles on the car? How many miles on the plug wires?
:D

i didnt change the plug wires so there are well over 60K on them. the car has 140K on it. all the plugs looked good when i put the new ones in exept one. it had some oil on it, wet oil. and i know i burn a little oil. about a half a quart per 3000 miles. i thought it could be the wires, is it possible for them to be bad and not show it on the outside? the first time i replaced the plugs it stopped the misfiring but then came back only 7K later so i think it has something to do with the spark, either plug or wires.
