So I've got my stock 1995 VR4, and i was wondering what I would need to buy exactly if I wanted to turn up the boost, like boost controllers, sensors. Like list everything I would need to get to turn up the boost safely on a stock engine block and stock turbos and stuff like that. I don't know much about tuning and everything, but willing to learn about it. What are your set ups and what should I buy

The only device you technically need to turn up the boost is a boost controler. Manual ones are cheap, electronic more sophisticated and expensive. Having said that i would not turn up the boost without a way to monitoring for knock at a minimum, and ideally AFRs. For the former, you need some way to datalog/connect to ECU. For the latter, you need to install a wideband O2. Unless you are planning on upgrading injectors, you don't need to (and wont be able to without installing much more) do any tuning.

You need to make a decision now how far you are going to go with the car (just a BC? more bolt ons? upgraded injectors/piggyback/flashable ECU?) and that will determine which path you should go down and if you should invest in more now or just keep it simple.

If you want to read all about my datalogging setup you can do so here: Datalogging using Torque Pro App and BlackStealth’s OBD1...

Before considering any of that, make sure all your maintenance is up to date and the car is otherwise healthy.

a boost gauge should also be considered that and a mbc will get it done.
that is just the start of the rabbit hole.
do alot of searching and learning before you dig in
then as jrhorne suggested choose a path
that rabbit hole can grow very quickly with these cars
or use the kiss method and don't dig that hole

Yeah, forgot the boost gauge, you need a "real" one that goes off a vacuum/boost reference, stock does not read boost. You can always go the more sophisticated route and get a LCDBC to handle multiple things with one device (also reads knock and WBO2, if equipped).
