what is required to convert the analog heating and cooling control unit to the digital vr-4 controls? i obviously know you need the digital control unit itself but is there anything else?
Go for it if you want. Search for "climate control" you will find a lot more info than you will from this post. Here is a list of the parts you will need (notice how it is just not the display and computer):
1: Digital control face unit
2: Motor control interface unit
3: Outside air temp sensor
4: Inside air temp sensor
5: Water temp sensor
6: In dash photosensor
7: Inside/outside air damper motor
8: Air mix motor
9: Outlet selector damper motor
10: All necessary wiring
Many people have thought about this and the true opinion out there is that it is not financially worth it. You can do sooo much more with that money, astectically and performance wise as well.
What I want to know is why couldn't they tell us what temperature it currently is inside and outside too? You can set what temp you want on the inside, but mitsu didn't think we would want to know what temperature it currently is? Or is there some way and I just never found it?
