info:

i chatted with them a little bit, and found out some intresting info.
-the gto's base timing is set at 10deg and they sometimes go as high as 15deg. this is on their pump 100RON gas, no knock, smooth.
-alot of their products they make in house, for example a 1.5mm headgasket that they use to "remedy" the headlift problem we have. they run 35psi on the show car like this.
-they use the stock oil pump gear on both their shop cars, even the time attack one that revs to 9000rpm.
-the time attack car has twin oil coolers, spring rates are 22kg/cm front and 18kg/cm rear lol
-both shop cars intercoolers had greddy 4"+ cores
-the time attack car has twin 18g turbos, running on speed density using hks fcon vpro just like the golden car, it also has the largest rotors i have ever seen at 388mm on the stock MR AP racing 6pot brakes
-the carbon doors are light as fuck! their quality is insane. their price was like 2800$ canadian. both their cars has a ton of carbon fiber stuff.
-their hood has a load of research behind it. they used it on the time attack car and added huge ducts on it for better cooling due to endurance racing.
-under their time attack car is full on aero kit
-they use 20w60 for racing, 20w50 for summer dd, 10w40 for winter dd
-the drivetrain on both shop cars are stock! no 300m, no braces, nothing!
-both cars are running 265 all around on 10.5" te37s
-both cars using 4bolt main
-both cars use simple SARD fpr's with 1000cc injectors
-the time attack car has their own ignition amplifier system remote located where the battery would be

thats all i can remember for now, ill post up more if i remember

edit:
ive answered a couple pm's, thought i would share here as well.

-the shock on the timing side motor mount is an engine damper. it is used in conjunction with poly or solid mounts. it absorbs engine vibrations(this is huge), prolongs mount life, smoothens shifting points, etc.
-the fan setup on their radiator is 2 stock a/c fans. drivers side in the normal location, pass side (rhd) is mounted in front of the rad modified to push instead of pull due to space limitations of the td05.
-their hood is modified on the track car with extra ducts because they needed extra cooling. you can see it in one of my pics.
-the extra rad tank is a breather system setup to remove air bubbles from the coolant, this has been tested to keep the car cool during endurance races.

edit2: one more
-the 2 tubes you sometimes see on the lower bumper is directed at the brakes to cool them down. see post #41 in this thread for pic reference.

edit3:
did i mention they race in the rain as well?

thts awesome man...we need prm to import those products to USA
PRM products are available through member ralliart. Just PM him for pricing at current exchange rates. Gotta warn you, it won't be cheap. Parts are pricey and so is freight. Thing is though, it's not necessary. The US (DR, Pampena, 3sx, etc) has surpassed anything japan has put out for performance parts for 3000GTs.

i had a great time there, was definitly one of the highlights of my trip.
you can get their products through their site, their international relations guy, or easiest to pm ralliart3000gt on here.

oh i didnt know shops here were doing 3hr+ endurance racing on gt courses? usa = drag only. both countries are on par and have their own specialty products.

This. We've put out more horsepower for a few seconds at a time, but that doesn't come close to a high HP car in an endurance race. Makes you wonder how our best cars would hold up.

The drivetrain thing doesn't surprise me. They aren't drag racing, so no ridiculous launching, which is what causes the most failures here.

For the record, this thread is awesome! Thanks for going and sharing!

PRM hasn't pushed the platform in years and seem to be content with what they have already developed. They probably have a thing or two to teach us about their experience in suspension setups.

Not trying to turn this into a pissing match; my main point was that PRM parts are available in US for anybody that ponies up the cash. Not too hard to buy if you are actually serious about it.

Definitely a cool trip and worth the trek to visit the shop. Would like to hear more about your travels throughout Asia.
