okay i've been debating making this thread for sometime over a year so i hope people find this helpful

alot of us do do our own work, but that being said we find ourselves "burnt out" afterwords especially during winter time. so before you suggest/recommend someone, make sure you have their approval.

that being said,

for maintenance, talk to jeff in milwaukee - username: 440 4x4

or moparjim Milwaukee Mopar Motorsports

feel free to add your experience

helpful websites i use all the time

http://www.stealth316.com/

http://supercar-engineering.com/rubberducky/

there were more, but no longer available like team3s and monin's site :(

AMS is in West Chicago. I've never been to them personally and don't think they do a whole lot of stuff with 3/S's but they've built some pretty sick STIs, EVOs, and GTRs and I'm sure they know their way around a car if you're looking for performance work.

I agree with Pete on this! My personal experience with AMS was back in '07 when I finished my '05 SRT-4 build. All these guys wanted to do was talk! "yo yo yo dude my friends civic is sick dude". After awhile of listening to this shit I asked when I could get some dyno time. They acted like they didn't want my business...even though THEY had a shop SRT4! I used them for the dyno and wouldn't trust them to tune my lawnmower! ....just my $.02

i'd say IPS... not really close but this is where i took my car back in the days... 7 hour drive is not that bad especially if you are looking for something more serious than an oil change

What needs to be done?
I need to have my fuel pump installed, and hotwired, plugs and wires changed, and possibly my rubber pipping changed over to hard pipping. Not a whole lot, and also diag my car to why the hell it has hesitation at higher rpm, check my oil pressure, and figure out why it does after going woot lol. Those might take a while to track down.

I wish I was as mechanically inclined but not quite. I was hoping to avoid the dealer for my 120k cause they charged appx $2200 for my 60k. So this weekend I'm attempting plugs, wires, along with valve cover gaskets for the first time.
