Here are some cheap tricks that I've tried that have worked out pretty well. If you see your entire hatch is rattling, get some weather stripping from your local Home Depot and line your entire hatch with it. If you see your spoiler is rattling pretty bad, de-attatch your spoiler and put some rubber gaskets in between the trunk and the spoiler. Lastly, get some sort of sound deadening material, such as dynamat, b-quiet, or e-dead, and line your trunk lid with it. To add a little weight I'd advise to put some carpet foam in the trunk lid as well. These tips should greatly reduce your rattling. Happy vibrate hunting.
