i have a 1994 a/t 3000gt, recently when increasing speed the car shutters at around 3000 rpm then runs smoothly but this happens alot not all the time but alot, i have spoken to several people who think its the timing belt, the car has 131,000 miles on it, i have had it since 90,000 and havent replaced a thing, what do you guys think?

120k Tune up?

Probably is the timing belt due to the fact that you are about 11k miles over your 120k tune-up...get all your 60k tune-up stuff done again...and BANG new car and no more shutter...
