Well, here we go. I searched the archives and it seems to be a common problem. I have the total seals, and oil on top of the pistons. This is a brand new rebuild, and i even had the heads done twice thinking the oil was coming from the valve seals or stems. Keith at total seal is thinking that they have yet to seat all the way. I saw a lot pertaining to this, but didn't see a solution for this problem in the archives. Any ideas would be great, i really don't want to pull it apart again but it's looking like i'm going to have to. I have about 200 miles on it so far and still smokes when taking off from idle.

total seals

I don't have them on my car but a lot of people who I know have had lots of trouble with them (one person is Steve at 3SX)...I've always thought that total seals should only be used on drag cars?...JC
