How wide can the tires go on a base 94 3000GT? I have 245/40/zr18's on there now. could 255, 265, or 275 work without rubbing? thanks all!

You could, but they'd have to be 245/35s, 255/30s, and 265/25s, all terribly expensive.
I have 265/35-18 on my 18x8.5 wheels. No problems here.

i just ordered 275/35/18s. i'll let ya know
Cool, I'll be waiting for your response!:D
just to let you know, 275's wont fit on 18x8.5's you need atleast a 9 inch wide rim to get them to fit..
Damn, but i might or might not have these rims next year. I have a lot of stuff that is up in the air. time will tell.
275s will too fit on a an 8.5 inch wide rim...
I was wondering the same thing. 275-width 20-inch tires are sorta cheap and I was wondering about a 20-inch rear and 18-inch front setup.
20 inches? I think thats a little much. besides the larger the rim, the slower you accelerate.

Do you have size 6 feet, and wear a size 12 shoe too?

I've got 275's on the rear and 255's on the front. No problems with rubbing at all. Actually I think I'm the only guy on here that even has an 11" wide wheel on the rear...didnt really plan that it just kinda happened
933000- i think hes trying to say that the size is not in the right proportion.

nathan- what is the total tire size for the front? ex: 255/40/18
GTO1994

fronts - 255/35/18
rears - 275/35/18

They are kumhos.....love them thus far.
