Unfortunately, the age of your car points to a defective TPS. You can check the voltage of teh TPS and the Idle switch with a voltmeter at the ECU or ... borrow a datalogger or let the dealer hook up the DRB2 to get the values.

any one ever have a problem with the throttle position sensor or related components. i think the dash pot in my car is shot. when i let out the clutch sometimes the RPM's dont drop or they jump a little. i bypassed the vacuum valve that is connected there and it ran the same. any one have any ideas????

Would you guys know if the TPS goes would the car buck? My car has been bucking and the dealership tells me I need to replace the throttle position sensor. Thanks
