Has anyone on here with a base 3000 ever done any throttle body or intake manifold work like boring and such? I was just wondering. Also, does anyone know the latest on the Venom line? Thanx in advance.

First: Will give you nothing without head work
Second : Forget it, no facts available

Give me the details of getting the head worked on. Do I get it bored or what? And if there are no facts supporting the throttle/maniflod work, then what is the harm in having it done? Thanx man.

Porting the heads, gasket matching the exhaust side, porting the manifolds, 3-angle valve seat job.

Having the stuff widened may cause stumbeling and hesitation in the low end until the whole system supports the more inlet air. The intake is no restriction for the NAs.

Gain overall of this is maybe 16-25hp. For the NA cars I'd not count more than 16hp as there is nothing that can push any more air into the engine !
