She should be putting down around 300hp to the wheels @ 18psi... thats about 140hp over stock (to the wheels, 165hp stock)

Crank hp is estimated to be somewhere from 350-400hp.

Stock WRXs lose about 62hp or 27% of the crank power to the wheels... doing the math from there 300+62=362hp or 300/73*100= 411hp... but I like to low ball.

My best run at the track was 12.7, best trap was 108.... but I didn't have everything tuned 100% yet... I think now, I could shave at least another 2 tenths off. 12.5s or so... @ 107-110mph.

Keep in mind that stock they run 14.4-14.8s @ 93-95mph.

These cars are tough... but the weakest link is the tranny... I lost 3rd gear... rather than have it rebuilt, I figured a new owner would appreciate a new tranny. Any abuse I may have given her would be wiped away doing this....

Also, the '02 tranny is weaker than the '03 tranny ('03s have all new part numbers)... Soooo... I am putting in a brand new '03 tranny. Should make for a happy marriage:).

Beautiful car man, there should definitely be some interest in that car. The wrx is one of my personal favorites. How do the mods you've added on compare to the J-spec sti?

all the parts listed as STi are actual Subaru parts for the J-spec STi... they came in Subaru boxes and everything.

As far as power... my WRX is faster, but it'll give something up in handling and braking when compared to the STi in japan.

They come with a full race spec suspension and brembo brakes front and rear... pretty sweet...
