Bump guys, we're still at 16 people and only need 4 more. If you're cash ready and want in let me know! If we can get 3 more people cash ready i'll probably buy a second one to get us to 20! we need to get this thing going!
Did they go through a revision after Brian snapped that one ? Or was that just a freak occurance and this still has the same design ? I'm having a hard time going back to 6g72 after being so heavily invested in 74 with a spare engine and all. But I know I want to go billet crank. Just not sure if I want to continue on the path I'm on and buy a 74 billet crank. Or build a 72 with one.
There are no revisions to the crank and none are needed. The crank is already VERY strong. The crank is good for 99.9% of the community. Go buy a $4,500 plus custom crank for your car... if something ever happens and you need a new one your another 4500 in and probably 6 month plus wait time. BC will have these STOCKED. I'll let you make the decision, but it's a pretty easy one IMHO.
I see at the bottom of the tag for that crank "Remarks: Unbalanced"
That seems odd to me.
Not being an engine builder, it would seem to me you would want to start with a balanced crank.
I do realize that you want the whole rotating assembly to be balanced, but how exactly to you do that?
