Hi guys, i have a 97 VR4 with a working stock infinity radio, amp and 10 disk changer, im curious to know if the first gen radio with the digital equalizer screen will work with the gen two system without modification, i kn9w its ment for a 6 disk changer, i just want to know if it will work with the infinity amp and stuff. I'd only want it because it looks cool, thanks

Soley for the opinion that the older digital ones screen more matches the interior aesthetic of the car/ matches the chromatic display for the a/c controls. Objectively it is a worse unit, but im not entirely concerned about audio quality in a 3000gt, i have many other audio devices that fit that need, however based on Daves response stating that the amp and front channels wont even work i no longer want the older unit.
