i just found these pics today, sorry if they've been posted before. i just thought they were pretty interesting. also sorry, i don't have any place to host them so i have to attach them. i'll try linking to them also, but i'm not sure it'll work.

also, here's the page i found them at Daytona R/T Concept

it's a 1990 Dodge Daytona R/T concept car. the Daytona R/T later went into production but not quite in the same form. notice any resemblance of the stealth? black roof, the mirrors, the blacked-out headlights, the general body curves(flared out fenders etc.), the brake ducts in front the rear wheels.

i also found this. it was a 1988 chrylser/lamborghini concept called the lamborghini portofino. i just thought the spoiler was similar to the stealth's.

The Stealth's banana spoiler and wheels for the ES models were derived from the Intrepid Concept car of the day. Some of the styling cues also came from this car, (Like the rear tails off the R/T models) but the Stealth's 1st gen shape is undeniably unique.

I *REALLY* like those mirrors on that concept 3KGT. The rest of it screams that it is a Firebird knock-off, though. It's also very reminiscent of the late '80s. (Duh)

I've always been a fan of the A to C pillar sweep, and the black roof. One big reason I like the Stealth over the 3000GT. Which is also incorporated into that is the appearance of one large side-opening/window/thing. See: Dodge Stealth, 69 Charger, Stratus Coupe, extended cab pickup trucks and not so much but still there: Intrepid, Caravan, Stratus Sedan, Neon. All painted or tinted to look like one opening on the side and commonly with the same shape to it. You could paint the roof black on the new Stratus R/T Coupes and get a very, very similar look to the Stealth R/Ts.

I'm a big fan of all the Dodge cues, I'll love anything with the crosshair grille. The muscular shaping and overall styling, you can pick out a hint of Viper in a Durango if you look at it from the correct angle.

Mmmmm, Dodge.

that stealth concept is interesting

looks like the front bumper of an MR-2, the read deck of a trans-am, the taillights of a saturn...

Where do all the prototype cars go anyways?
Alot of them are torn-apart/recycled..
some are probably hidden away in those big warehouses in detroit..and some may be owned by the higher-ups of the car companies.
Frankly, I'd love to have that 300M Hemi concept or the Chrysler Antlantique (sp?)
