Hey so I have a 93 r/t and I have had it sitting since September for the winter but start it twice a week and I noticed the speedometer suddenly isn’t working and actually might be seeking the car soo to get a turbo version so I kinda need to figure this out quick anybody know why the speedo would stop working? I live in Michigan maybe it froze?

Don’t quite understand how a turbo version comes into the question. But if your 93 r/t is a non-turbo the speedometer is driven by a cable from transmission, cable could have broke or gear in trans that drives it could have stripped.

If it's a twin turbo, then the speedometer is electronic, and it could be anything from the sensor itself to wiring/connection issues, or even old failed capacitors on the circuitboard of the speedometer itself.

SPEEDometer or TACHometer?

The tachometers in older cars have crappy capacitors just like the ECU's.

Need more info...
